What is the South Dakota Health Care Association? Minimize

The South Dakota Health Care Association (SDHCA) is the leading trade association representing long term care organizations, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, and congregate living throughout South Dakota. Members include both not-for-profit and proprietary providers. Our Membership also encompasses multi-facility chains and independently owned facilities.

The South Dakota Health Care Association was founded in 1951 as a professional organization bringing together concerned providers to improve the quality of long term care.

The SDHCA is an affiliate of the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) and the American Health Care Association (AHCA), which is the largest national association representing long term care providers.

SDALA, the South Dakota Assisted Living Association is dedicated to providing leadership and quality to assisted living professionals in South Dakota. SDALA provides continuing education and breaking news communications in order to keep its members on the “cutting edge” of their profession. In addition, SDALA provides effective lobbying at the State Legislature, testimony at regulatory hearings and a strong presence in Washington, D.C.

SDALA is an affiliate of the South Dakota Health Care Association (SDHCA) and the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL), which is the national association representing assisted living providers. NCAL is the leading source on the national level for assisted living information for providers and consumers.
