The Director of Nursing is responsible for the operation of the total nursing department which includes restorative nursing staff.   1. Assures that quality care is delivered to the residents through daily rounds by supervisors, reviewing 24 hour report sheets, reviewing and investigation of incident reports and medication errors.

  7. Assures that sufficient staff are scheduled and on duty to meet the needs of the residents. Evaluates and alters the number of staff on duty, based on census and resident acuity.
  8. Assists in establishing an annual budget for the Nursing Department. Adheres to established budget as closely as possible by monitoring unnecessary staff overtime and supplies.
  9. Is knowledgeable of Federal and State regulations and implements changes in policy and procedures as regulations require.
  10. Works closely with other departments to assure all services are beneficial to the resident. 

Requirements:  

- 5+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing preferred.
- RN licensure in accordance with SD Board of Nursing requirements.
- Experience in working with an older adult population.
- 2-4 years of experience in staff supervision.

As a Member Services Representative, you will enrich lives each day by warmly welcoming and directing all incoming members and guests, as well as serving as a “go-to” person for fitness club members, residents, guests, and team members who have questions or need assistance. 

In addition to providing excellent hospitality to club members and visitors over the telephone and at the Member Services desk, our team of Member Services Representatives is also responsible for duties such as ensuring that the fitness equipment, locker rooms, and aquatic center are exceptionally clean and safe; testing the chemical levels in the pool and spa on a regular basis; and providing towel/laundry service. 

Club membership will be open to Touchmark residents, as well as adults in the greater community, and members will enjoy a wide range of activities and classes that can positively affect age-related conditions and encourage lifelong health and wellness. All programs will be tailored to individual levels of ability, skill, and personal fitness goals. A long list of amenities will also be offered, including an indoor heated pool, a group exercise studio, one-on-one personal training, a fully-equipped fitness studio, massage therapy, and a NeuroCom Balance Master system.

 

Required Education and Experience:

Have experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in a busy setting, or similar experience in a customer service or hospitality position

Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification

Be excellent at handling multiple tasks simultaneously
