Faulkton Senior Living. The Professional Nurse will administer medications as assigned and will also be responsible for observing, intervening, resolving and documentation of any significant changes including but not limited to; refusal of medications, falls, etc. The Professional Nurse will also monitor the Certified Nursing Assistants for work performance and provision of services.

The Nurse is responsible for the total care of residents. He/she will ensure that all cares have been completed in a manner that provides exceptional customer service and quality care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Faulkton Senior Care. The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing non-professional nursing care under the supervision and direction of a nurse.   • Wellness Manager in Sioux Falls, SD

Dow Rummel Village, Sioux Falls. General responsibilities encompass fitness center management, amenity use, program development, facility programming and scheduling, special events, administration of facility events, and overall program promotion and publicity. The Wellness Manager ensures that all programs and services are promoted, conducted and fulfilled in a manner consistent with the mission of Dow Rummel and in keeping with budgetary requirements.

B. S. or M. S. in Exercise Science or degree in related discipline combined with relevant continuing education and professional experience. Certification with ACSM, ACE,  AFAA, or SFA. helpful, but not mandatory. 

  • Manage the wellness center operation including facilities, personnel, programs, and budget.
  • Provide a comprehensive wellness program that is holistic in nature and addresses body mind and spirit.
  • Develops budgets in keeping with the direction from the Executive Director.
  • Provide a variety of land and water based programs emphasizing strength, endurance and flexibility. Instruct individual / group classes; provide exercise programs that are corollary to ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living)
  • Direct, oversee, and collaborate with Restorative Aides that execute restorative program.
  • Stimulate wellness programs for co-workers, provide on-going education programs using in-house expertise and community resources. Develop and implement an orientation program for all new exercisers, acquire baseline information on all exercisers, provide tracking system for all exercisers.
  • Facilitate the Employee Wellness Program and provide ongoing education programs using in-house expertise and community resources; as well as write individualized programs that help employees to reach their fitness goals.
  • Document wellness activities and performance as appropriate and communicate any observed medical concerns promptly to the nursing staff.
  • Arrange and conduct fitness assessments for residents following proper protocols established by ACSM.
  • Use results from fitness assessments to write Care Conference Reports for licensed care residents.
  • Maintain awareness of trends in the fitness/wellness industry.
  • Work independently within the scope of the position.
  • Oversee day to day operations of the Wellness Center including regular checks on equipment.
  • Oversee marketing and orientations for outside membership to the Wellness Center.
  • Arrange and conduct fitness assessments for new associates.
